Hello

I figured it out how to publish portfolio on a different page dedicated to this portfolio. But what I want to do is to add portfolio preview items directly on my homepage, so that users can see my works along with other information on that page. Is it possible at all?

Thanks

Hello,

Thanks so much for your question.

For this one, you can create a Component part for Portfolio articles.
By this way, the menu item type should be the portfolio type.

Or else, you can create a module TZ Portfolio+ Articles in your Home page.

Feel free to tell me if there is any other question.

Thanks,
Mai

Hello Mai,

Thank you very much for the prompt answer.

Question 1.
I think I somehow managed to do this though it's not exactly my idea.
I assigned mod_tz_portfolio_plus_articles to the home page and assigned it a specific position on the page. And my portfolio articles appeared on the page. However I want the articles to appear in the Pilman or Zalta style and I have no idea how to assign the module this style. How is it done? (I did this quite successfully on a separate Portfolio page.)

Question 2.
I love the templates for the portfolio, though I would like to build single article pages using SP Page Builder. Is it possible to link TZ Portfolio previews with articles I build with SP Page Builder?

Question 3.
I use full-width templates like Zalta, for example. Though the portfolio looks like it's put into a container or like boxed portfolios. It seems there are no settings that will help me with this.

Thanks a lot

Hello,

Thanks so much for your reply.

Here are my answers for your questions:

1. If you want to have these layout, you need to use the Menu item type of TZ Portfolio+ and have Component Area in the template style assigned to the menu item.

2. If SP Page Builder supports TZ Portfolio+, you can use it.

3. Actually I haven't got what you mean here.
Could you please tell me how you want?

Thanks,
Mai

Thanks dor your answers!

1. I have my component area busy with SP Page builder and I can't have 2 in one template at the same time.
2. SP Page builder supports adding modules like mod_tz_portfolio_plus_articles. And the module works but it's not stylized, I cannot change it's style to Zalta.
3. I mean when in desktop mode the portfolio is not fullwidth, but is fullwidth when switching to mobile or tablet. I haven't found any settings that can block porffolio from being fullwidth. See attached screenshots.

Hello,

Thanks so much for your reply.

1. The module TZ Portfolio+ Article does not support style for articles.
2. For this one, do you want to have images those are full-width even on the computer.

Thanks,
Mai

TZ Portfolio is a really good portfolio developing extensions for Joomla that allows users to display, style and manage their portfolio easily.

Plus it has all layouts and multi-categories you would need for a portfolio with two basic views: Portfolio and Single Article view.
